[EP 20] 3 Tips on How to Re-Frame Failure

[EP 20] 3 Tips on How to Re-Frame Failure

If you’ve been keeping up with our rantings and ravings since the beginning (and we thank you for that!) then talking about the flop that was our first product, is not news to you.

For those of you who haven’t heard, our first product launch was brutal. We poured months into a product we thought our readers wanted and one that we knew offered loads of value, but it didn’t sell.

To say it didn’t sell would be an understatement. It was pure crickets on launch day. And the day after. And the day after that…you get the picture.

And while there were plenty of screamed expletives and ugly tears, one incredibly important thing came from this failure – it made us reevaluate our business.

Turns out we had things a bit backwards and weren’t actually giving our audience what they wanted. Without this lack-lastre launch we may have never realized the error of our ways and our business would have been stuck in a stalemate. And ain’t nobody got time fo that.

So, the short story long is that failure can be a good thing – nay, a damn good thing! So go on and click that big ol’  play button at the top of the page, download this in iTunes or listen on Stitcher to find out why failing can be sexy as hell if you want your biz to succeed.

Dig what we have to say? Then be sure to give us a 5 star rating or leave a review!. We may even mention it on our next episode!

And don’t forget to tune in for a new episode every Thursday at 7am EST.
